Christmas Gimmick

Christmas is a very big celebration here in the Philippines as well as around the world. Many events and festivities are witnessed as this holiday season comes closer. At A plus, we also planned our gimmick for the holiday so that it will be something we will all remember.

Have you heard of "manito, manita"? Well it's a Filipino tradition of giving gifts during Christmas that we will have in A plus. The special instruction is that each person participating will draw lots on the name of the person he will give a gift to. The person you picked will be called your manito for a boy, and manita for a girl. This word means 'little brother or sister' in Spanish. Each week starting December 1, each one will give a small present to his or her manito or manita. The final and the best gift will be given on Christmas Day. Just imagine the ecxitement of waiting for your gift each week! It sure is fun.

The presents under the mini Christmas tree are waiting to be opened as I write this. We hope you can join us celebrating this special holiday. See you!
