Pintados is a term that means painted. This is the origin of the festival in the city of Passi in Iloilo Province. People remember the way of life of their ancestors as they celebrate Pintados de Passi Festival every third week of March.
Participants adorn their body with traditional body tattoo that show geometrical designs.
Men and women alike join the celebrations. Tourists can experience one of a kind presentations.
Even animals that participate in the parade are inked in colorful and eye catching designs.
Children give their best in their tribe presentation.
